Inspiration:

Art Above? Art Below!

People must be familiar with the Art Below project by now, established since 2005 in the London underground. Turning all that advertising space, where 150,000 people pass by an hour, into art space. Well, if you’ve been one of those people travelling past “Leicester Square Station” recently; you’re in for a treat. Our beautiful animator / illustrator friend Rosa Lykiardopoulos has a wonderful piece up over there right now. It’s there till the 14th Decemeber, so hurry up if you’re around that area, keep your eye out for it.

If only we lived in London! You don’t get cool artwork like that on the Liverpool underground!

There is no Liverpool underground really. The train to Birkenhead is about as good as it gets.
But true enough, some nice work around the place would probably help the city.

there is the underground loop in liverpool city centre, it’s just tiny compared to london… some artwork as you go up the escalators would be good though :)
