Gemma Correll’s 60 Years

We have a bit of a double-hitter today. Firstly, we’ve been admiring the brilliantly simple work of Gemma Correll. Her thick penned lines and restricted colour palettes make her work really pop, and on her site she’s done an awesome range of diaries, such as her one from America last year. But the second thing we wanted to flag up was the 60 Years project, for which Gemma has contributed the above artwork! The project aims to creatively commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and is run by Zara Arshad. More info on it can be found at the 60 Years page on her site. It’s a great concept and an important thing to remember, so check it out if you get the chance.
