Satoshi Hashimoto’s retro charm
If you’ve ever read the Monocle magazine or visited their website you will see illustration is a feature of their content, one illustrator in particular graces every issue sometimes in spreads but always on the editor-in-chief’s thoughts on the last page.
That illustrator is Satoshi Hashimoto, who has a truly lovely retro 1950’s infographic style helped no end by his charming characters and his confident use of line, which is used in just the right quantities to deliver fabulous finished pieces.
