Anyone with the faintest interest in comicbooks will be well aware of the legend that is Stan Lee… the man behind Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Iron Man, Daredevil, the Hulk… need any more?? Well he’s now taking on a new challenge in the shape of the Stan Lee Foundation, which is a non-profit organisation aiming to provide access to literacy, education and the arts for all.
And now the call has gone out to all you super-powered designers out there… Stan Lee has teamed up with Talenthouse to run a competition to design the logo for the Stan Lee Foundation. Of course, the winning design will be used as their official logo, but on top of that the winner will be whisked off to New York to meet Stan Lee in person and to be presented with an award!! What more could you ask for??

Red Bull are offering you the chance to design a bespoke fridge as part of Liverpool Sound City. The designs should be based around the theme of Sound City, Liverpool and Music theme, however all variations and interpretations of this are welcome.
A panel of judges from Red Bull and Liverpool Sound City will select the winning 6 designs which will then be turned into physical fridges and displayed throughout the Sound City festival as part of the Screenadelica exhibition in the old Rapid Building, before finding a permanent home in a local bar.
Swig a few Redbull’s and start designing because all entry’s should be sent to nick@liverpoolsoundcity.co.uk no later than Friday 7th May.
With the eagerly anticipated South African World Cup imminent, how better to celebrate it than have a football themed design contest! New Web Pick is asking you all to design a unique football to support your favourite country!
There is a ton of prize money up for grabs too… one lucky grand prize winner will win $1000(US), a staggering 32 runner ups will receive $150(US) for the best design for each country, and $200(US) for the public’s favourite.

Did you see the JAM bus? No, I’m not talking about the public transport covered with tasty, fruity spread that you put on your toast and porridge, I’m referring to the creative fashion trade fair, JAM Berlin’s bus. Well, it’s the public transport covered with fresh, colourful doodles, so not far off.

The competition was launched last December, for fellow artists to ‘Pimp the bus’ by La Fraise. It’s their first none T-shirt competition, and it was a great success. Having your design on the side of a double decker bus, driving around one of the creative capitals of the world is pretty special.
The winner, Maxime Archambault aka S3, created some bold and stunning artwork for the bus. Photos were released a few weeks back, with the bus looking all funky and eye catching in the streets. (View more photos below, and even more photos on his Behance).
