I’m sure you’re all familiar with the lovable Droplet vinyl toys that TC alumni Gav Strange (read his interview here) designed, so you’ll be exciting by the news of the imminent launch of Series 2. And to mark the occasion there’s going to be a launch event at Fifty Fifty Store in Bristol. And the really exciting part is that as part of the event there will be an exhibition of customised blank Droplets from a stunning list of artists including the likes of Pete Fowler, TADO, Peskimo and… the one and only Nick Park – the legendary four-time Oscar-winning creator of Wallace & Grommit. Should be a bonzer event, so get yourself down there!!

Here’s a sneak peak at a new resin figure designed by German architect Mathias Bax. Due out later this month, there will be two variants – one with, and one without movable arms – mainly so his one year old son can play with it without swallowing the arms! So good for all ages!

When released it will retail for roughly $10 plus shipping, but if anyone has an early requests then just email Mathias.

When Kidrobot says it’s going to open a store in your country’s capital it’s momentus and everyone turns out. This is especially true when character loving superheros TADO turn out to sign, doodle and graffiti over your precious vinyl items. Hoardes of people turned out last Thursday for the official launch night with queues as long as 2hrs just to get in the store! Our friend punkypickle swung by to checkout out all the madness and take some cool photos.

Situated on Earlham Street, Covent Garden, London, the new Kidrobot store hopes to bring vinyl designer goodness to all it’s UK fans and I for one will be make a trip down to London soon to grab me some Kidrobot action!

How far does one go with one’s cup of tea? All the way to Europe and back! That’s how far!

Matt Jones AKA Lunartik, has just finished his first leg of his ‘Custom Tea Tour’ to help launch his new toy ‘Lunartik in a Cup of Tea Series One’. He set sail on his tour at Forbidden Planet in London, and aims to travel to Amsterdam, Vienna, Glasgow and end the year in Manchester.

For the tour Matt teamed up with 24 of the world’s finest artists to produce a fantastic range of custom Teas! Amongst the lineup are Jeremyville, Kenn Munk, Tado, Pete Fowler, I Love Dust and Jon Burgerman.
