We’ve caught wind of another collaborative project which Tado are taking part in. It’s with Thunderdog and Hasbro and marks the 25th Anniversary of My Little Pony. Not surprisingly, it’s called The My Little Pony Project. I know what you’re all thinking… MLP isn’t the kind of thing you’d usually spend you lunch time looking at but there’s an awesome line-up of artists customising the little critters and as you can see from Tado’s super-sneak-peak work-in-progress photos above, the final results will win over even the biggest GI-Joe fan!

For all you vinyl-toy-fanatics out there… Kidrobot return with Dunny Series 5! Featuring the work of artists including Devilrobots, Frank Kozik, Jellymon and MAD, there should be something for everyone! You can pick them up from the Kidrobot store now! And if that’s not enough… we recently got ourselves one of Super7’s brightly coloured clear vinyl Ghostland toys - complete with glow-in-the-dark eyes!

You’ll probably know James Jarvis from his exploits as a top runner at the Zurich Marathon, but for his day job he also dabbles in a little bit of illustration. In fact, James Jarvis is probably one of the most iconic and influential illustrators of the last 10 years and was one of the leading figures in the vinyl toy explosion. His work for Silas and the company he joint set up, Amos, has seen his weird and wacky creations make their way around the globe. He was kind enough to spend a few minutes answering our questions.

If you don’t already know, Tado, Jon Burgerman and iLoveDust have teamed up for a very special range of 8″ Dunnys… the 3 Bears! We braved the heat and the Manchester one-way system to meet the guys at their signing event at the Richard Goodall Gallery. It was hot, hot, hot but well worth it… and above is a snap of us with the guys. The Dunnys look great and you can find out more about them on the 3 Bears Blog. And if you’re feeling particular flush… you can buy ‘em straight from the KidRobot US store.

MTV Fauna are a collection of creatures which appear on MTV in Canada as part of the network’s unique branding. They were created by internationally-acclaimed illustrator Nathan Jurevicius, the man behind the Scarygirl empire, and they’ve recently been transformed into a limited edition set of vinyl figures. They can be bought online and at a handful of exclusive stores. More info can be found at mtv.ca/fauna. We thought we’d track down Nathan and find out a bit more about the project.
