21st Century Tank Girl
I’m sure many people will remember Tank Girl – the comic book series, and later Hollywood movie. What I didn’t realise is that it’s creator-owned, and the co-creators Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett (of Gorillaz fame), are bringing it back!
They’re running a kickstarter to sidestep the publishing industry and create an truly independent new hardback novel, featuring a bunch of great artists. There’s work from Brett Parson, Warwick Johnson-Cadwell, Philip Bond, Jim Mahfood, Craig Knowles, and our particular favourite, friend-of-TC Jonathan Edwards!
It’s a superb project, with great artists on board, and well worth a look (and a back) over on their kickstarter page!
