Animal All-star World Cup Sweepstake
The 2014 World Cup starts on Thursday and Adam & Jon from Splinter Design (also of Thunderchunky fame) have created a set of world cup sweepstakes cards with a difference. The set is a graphical representation of each country by national animal, a big challenge to say the least as most countries share the same animal but after a lot of research Adam set off to illustrate all 32 countries (with some help from Claire at Splinter too).
The result is a beautiful set of simple infographic style illustrations wonderfully depicting each participant in the famed footballing tournament. A lovely touch on the back there are key fixtures and info on players of that country, plus a random fact for future pub quizers to mental note.
All in all it’s a lovely project, produced to a high quality that celebrates the World Cup and is a little something different from the usual office football sweepstake.
