Lets take a step back in time, away from all the modern graphics and illustration to the nineteenth century. An exhibition on one of the greatest Japanese print artists, Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861) a major master of the ‚Äòfloating world’, or Ukiyo-e school of Japanese art, is currently being held at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. The major Kuniyoshi Exhibition is running from 21 Mar – 7 Jun 2009, so prepare to emerse yourself in a time filled with warriors and demons, geishas and shoguns.
