Mixed blends – Illustrations for TSB
TSB had a rebrand last year when it split from Lloyds bank. A part of the rebrand were these lovely illustrations that accompany promotional material. Joint London & Studio AKA (Steve Small designing the characters) worked on the campaigns to produce a beautiful hand drawn, painted style which is also very nicely mixed with CGI when used in moving campaigns. It’s a very soft, calm beautiful style thats really very approachable and the blend of watercolour ink lines and 3D works really well, although do like the 2D version more. All in all a beautiful range of illustrations and lovely animations.
