Mr. Brian Hartley’s work is great. Every piece, every character puts a big fat grin on my face – they’re just spot on every time. No matter what the situation the faces are perfect. It’s also helped by the beautiful style Mr. Hartley wields to create his illustrations.
As a person who uses flat colours in my own work – I love it when I see people using texture in theirs as it’s an effect I always want to try but never really muster up the courage. Mr. Hartley is a skilled craftsman of textures and shapes and using the right amount, or in the shapes case just enough, to give his work a bold unique altogether rather excellent look. :D
