If you’ve ever attempted a doodle after a few pints then you’ll know that fun can be had. Draw the Line at the Basement Bar, Django’s Riff in Liverpool is a monthly event that allows illustrators and artists to chill out and enjoy the art of doodling… as you can tell from the pics!

We’ve been enjoying the spacial illustrations from Zulmira, advertising gone wrong over at Scary Ideas and the slightly mental, toy piano band Twink.

Awesome – that looks like loads of fun! I had no idea there was such a thing going on in Liverpool. There’s a fun event in Chester which sounds quite similar, called Doodle Planet. It involves all the guests at the event drawing on a big wall – it’s cool to see all the eclectic styles mixed together…
