Chris Ware’s Jimmy Corrigan classic
Following a book-related chat amongst members of the TC team, we realised that we all had lots of awesome books that the others didn’t necessarily know about. So we’ve decided to post up some of those books for all you lovely readers!
First up is one of my favourites, the brilliant Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on the Earth, created by the mysterious American cartoonist and comic book artist Chris Ware. Following the story of an emotionally-impaired loner, it was the first graphic novel to ever win a major British literary prize. But it’s the amazing, intricate illustrations and mind-absorbing layouts that will blow you away the most.
